Our blade is hand-crafted from 1085 Blue Tempered Spring Steel.  Because of the high carbon content this ensures our knives hold an edge longer and are easy to sharpen.  Our beautiful handles are made from shed deer or elk antlers and include turquoise or red jasper inserts. Hand carved with elk, deer, deer tracks, trout or fishing hook detail. Included scabbard is hand-made from 11oz American cowhide.  Scabbard style will vary with individual knife sizes.  The leather is tanned using a saltwater-free process to help prevent rusting of the blade.  CARE INSTRUCTIONS:  KEEP THE BLADE LIGHTLY OILED TO PREVENT RUSTING.
